The basic philosophy of the founders of Belle Chasse Academy is that a world-class education is the birthright of every individual, that all children can learn, and that every child should be challenged to each his/her full potentional.
Central to this philosophy is the belief that while parents have the primary responsibility for the development of children's characters, schools should support and reinforce parental efforts in this critical area. Further, schools should actively engage parents in supporting their children's academic learning.
There are many opportunities for active parental involvement at BCA. These range from classroom visits and volunteerism, participation in SOAR sponsored activities, to annually voting for the BCA Board of Directors membership.
