Base Access Process for Parents Without Military/DOD Credentials

Dear Belle Chasse Academy Parents/Guardians,

If you have a military or DOD credential, please disregard this notice.

The Visitor Control Center is now issuing ID cards (DBIDS) for access to Belle Chasse Academy to authorized parents/guardians. The credential will expire on June 30, 2018.

To start the process of obtaining a Base issued credential, the attached form and the original identifying documents (current passport; or a combination of a copy of your driver’s license and social security card or birth certificate) must be brought to the Visitor Control Center outside the Front Gate to the Base.  As you come into the Base, keep right and exit into the parking lot before you get to the gate.

Inform the Visitor Center personnel that you are a BCA parent/guardian.

If you have any questions regarding this process, please do not call the BCA Office, rather you should call the Visitor Control Center (504-678-3461/3462).
