Parent Portal Accounts for 2018-2019 School Year

Below is a written transcript of the School Messenger message that is being sent on 5/7/2018 to all parents who have indicated that their student/s will return to Belle Chasse Academy for the 2018-2019 school year but have not yet created a Parent Portal account:


Dear Parents,


At Belle Chasse Academy parents should monitor student information and performance through our Parent Portal (also referred to as PowerSchool). Also, through the Parent Portal, the parent submits information that the school is required to maintain for all active students. This information includes points of non-urgent and emergency contact, allergy information, dismissal/child release information, and photo release information, among other essential items of information.


Therefore, all parents are required to create a Parent Portal account. You have indicated that your child will be returning to BCA for the 2018-2019 school year. As of this time you have not registered a Parent Portal account for your child, <<First Name>>.


Your student’s registration for the next school year is not considered complete until an account has been created. A letter with instructions and the necessary student information will be sent home with your child.  The Parent Portal account must be established by the last day of school, May 23rd, 2018.


Please help us ensure that we “hold a place” for your child for next school year.
